NEWSupdate:2018-07-12 NO.: DOC180701-01Final Rule 16 CFR 1252 was IssuedThe Final Rule 16 CFR 1252 “Children’s Products, Children’s Toys, and Child Care Articles: Determinations Regarding Lead, ASTM F963 Elements, and Phthalates for Engineered Wood Products” was published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the Federal Register, expounding the CPSC-accepted third party testing exemption of the lead, ASTM F963 elements and phthalates requirements on the Engineered Wood Products, though the compliance with the limits is still mandatory. This rule will be effective from July 23, 2018.
