Proposal from EU: Amended Migration Limits of Lead in Toys

To adapt to technical progress and protect children from developmental neurotoxicity, the Council of the European Union proposed the new migration limit of lead from toys. The proposed amendment is expected to be effective on the third quarter of 2018. Here is the comparison of the current and proposed migration limits of lead in toys of Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC.
